Hello everyone!
Today I went to Carlow College to see one of my Irish blogging idols, Suzanne Jackson of the ‘So Sue Me’ blog.
A few people have asked about my outfit and shoes which I posted to my Instagram earlier today, so I thought why not do an outfit post and let you know how I decided on the outfit! I am going to tell you all where the pieces are from along with their price points!
(This is my first official ‘what I wore’ post so let me know what you guys think! I would love some feedback!)
So as you can see it is quite a casual outfit. Black skinnys, plain white (penny’s😉) top, and a pastel light jacket.
I decided on this outfit today as I wanted something light as the weather is very heavy at the moment but also to bring through my own personal style with encorporating the pastel trend along with that! I turned the skinnies up at the bottoms as it made the outfit feel nice and summary too.
As I always say;
Never overthink an outfit, just be you!

🌸Here is my outfit details🌸
Black skinny jeans –
Let’s face it, you can’t go wrong with a pair of black skinny jeans! These were the base of my outfit today! I pulled them out of the wardrobe and worked from there. These ones are from River Island and are €50
White vest top –
A white vest top is a wardrobe staple, and I have a lot of them! You honestly can’t go wrong with vest tops and they come in so many different colours, and can be easily carried from day to night with a change of accessories. This one I wore today is just plain white with a subtle striped detail throughout. It has a fab gold zip going down the back also which I loved! It’s all about the finer details that add that extra zing to your look. Where is it from may you ask…. Pennys/Primark of course!!! This was only €7 which is such a steal as it is so versatile and washes great also.
Pearl neckpiece –
Oh who doesn’t love a good pearl neckpiece? This one is my fave! It’s big, it’s chunky and makes such a statement. When it comes to jewellery and accessories I am the biggest magpie! I have so many neckpieces it’s rediculous, some with the tags still on them which I bought ‘just in case’ haha! This one I wore today is from Forever21 in Dublin and it was around €12 I think!
Pastel pink long line jacket –
I got this pastel beauty in River Island on sale about three weeks ago. I bought the exact same jacket in black last October which had a black removable fur collar on it and I just loved it! It’s the kind of jacket that gives you the coverage and look of a coat, but is nice and light for this spring changeable weather. It is 82% acrylic and 17% polyester which washes great. This style steal was just €30 (on sale)
Pointy toed flats –
The shoes! This is going to be such a disappointment for all of you who have asked about my flats. Unfortunately I got these I think two years ago in River Island! (They are in great condition) But never fear….Pennys/Primark have a great range of pointy toed flats in at the minute that are just as nice! I seen a fab nude pair and black pair also. Continuing on from the court shoe, the flat has become quite popular, so a lot of high street stores have them in at the minute. I think at the time these were around €33
I hope you have enjoyed this post on my recent outfit! If you would like to see more let me know via comment or by directly writing to me!
Stay fabulous guys and gals!
